Run Oregon is Kickin’ it in the Ora Recover Slide from HOKA ONE ONE

Untitled

At first glance, these just scream HOKA. The color scheme is bold (though there are much more muted options available) and the oversized midsole is reminiscent of most HOKA footwear.

They fit really nice and are super comfortable – providing my feet with cushion and support whenever I wear them. I gave up on trying to walk around barefoot a few years ago (my arches just killed me), and these have been a welcome support in the summer heat. I generally wear supportive slippers in the winter, but these make things a little more seasonal. I have become a big fan of these, and so have my feet.

If you are new to wearing slides, I would recommend easing into them. On the first day, I stupidly tried wearing these on a day-long excursion, and by the end of the day I had a hot spot on the top of foot. I blame myself for this, but just be smart (or at least smarter than me). Overall, these have been very welcome and my feet are thanking me. They are also very reasonable priced for supportive footwear and with the quality, I know these are going to last for years to come.
