Race Preview: 2018 Kids Obstacle Challenge (Sherwood)

There are a lot of great races out there that you can register your kids for, but the 2018 Kids Obstacle Race is the only one with an obstacle course designed for kids from ages 5 to 16. This is the largest touring adventure and obstacle course for kids in the nation. Even better, you get to run this race with them!

The Kids Obstacle Race, held on July 21st at the Sherwood Forest Equestrian Center, will have a competitive wave in the morning and regular family waves throughout the day. The course is 1.5 to 2 miles long with 13-15 obstacles and plenty of mud, water, and fun adventure ahead. Rock walls, mud pits, cargo nets, and all sorts of other fun challenges await. And you get to be there every step of the way, as parents get to participate with their kiddos for FREE.

The swag for this race is pretty awesome too. Included in your kiddo’s registration is a race medal, a cinch bag, clif bars for the family, and free event photos, (though not guaranteed.) For an extra $5, your family can do unlimited re-runs, and this could be worth it’s value in gold!

Give this race a shot this summer and the whole family will have a blast!
