Race Preview: 2018 Cook Park Marathon & Half Marathon (Tigard)

The Cook Park Marathon and Half Marathon will be held on July 6. This is one of 5 marathon/half marathons being held over the 4th of July weekend. The Firecracker Five events can be run as separate events, or you can attempt all 5! This race will be run on paved and dirt trails in both Cook Park and Durham City Park. The route is 4.37 miles, so marathoners will run the course 6 times and half marathon runners will complete 3 laps. This race will be chip-timed to ensure you get all your laps in.

Cook Park Marathon and Half course

There will be a fully stocked aid station at the start/finish area, that runners will pass by on each lap. Finisher medals will go to all and awards will be given to the top male and female runners. Sport Tek race shirts are available for $15 when you register by June 18. This event is capped at 100 participants, so be sure to register soon!

There is an early start available at 6:00 A.M. for marathon runners needing more than 5 hours
