Race Preview: 2018 Grants Pass Freedom Run (5K and 1 mile run/walk)


If you live in / are visiting Grants Pass over Memorial Weekend, but sure to check out the the Grants Pass Freedom Run on Saturday, May 26th. The race offers a chip-timed 5k and a (new this year) 1-mile run/walk. This point-to-point course begins on the lawn of the Josephine County Courthouse, crosses the Rogue River, and finishes at the Reinhart Volunteer Park (see a course map here). Beginning at 10:15 AM, a shuttle service back to the Bethany Presbyterian Church parking lot will be available. And the race begins just before the Boatnik Parade, so there is plenty to do & see for the whole family.

Awards will be presented to the top three men, women, and youth, and ribbons will go to the top three finishers in 10-year age groups.

Be sure to register by May 17th to guarantee a race shirt!
