The Lithia Park area in Ashland, Oregon is an absolutely beautiful place to run. Taking advantage of this is the Tar N’ Trail 6 Miler scheduled for March 10th at 8 am. Put on by the Rogue Valley Runners to benefit the Ashland Woodlands & Trail Association, this 6 mile run traverses both trail and back roads.
Registration is currently open online until March 9th. Entry is $25 and includes a shirt, for students there is a discounted rate of $15 which includes a shirt as well. Day of event registration is $30 and only includes a shirt while supplies last. Packet pick up and registration opens at 7 am on race day. The race course will be marked and will have a few course marshals with one aid station at mile 3.
