Race Preview: 2018 Truffle Shuffle (Eugene)

Tradition. Supporting a good cause. Afternoon start time. All of these are great reasons not to miss the 2018 Truffle Shuffle in Eugene on Sunday, February 11th.

Hosted by Eclectic Edge Racing, you can choose from a 4 mile run, 2 mile run, 2 mile walk, and also features a 700m kids run. In beautiful Alton Baker Park, the 2 and 4 mile routes both run along the Willamette River. All finishers will receive a chocolate truffle and awards will be presented for the first male and female runner, along with the first place age group winners for both male and female. If you are interested in running with a group, there is also a team competition (the first five finishing members of each team in the same race will have their times added for a cumulative team time. No team rosters are necessary – just note your team affiliation when you register. All teams will be competing in an Open division).

The event proceeds will benefit St. Vincent de Paul’s Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF). You can learn more here.
