Small Race Preview: 2017 Overflowing Hope 5k (Forest Grove)

The Overflowing Hope 5k Race for Water is held in Forest Grove on September 30th at 10am. The race starts at Sonrise Church, then goes out to the lovely B street trail, from where it circles back around to the start. The family-friendly trail allows for fast runs as well as casual walks, and strollers are welcome as well. You can spend a morning enjoying nature and raising funds for a great cause!

The event raises money for the Christian humanitarian organization World Help to drill fresh water wells in villages in Guatemala. Lack of access to fresh water is one of the main causes for disease and illness in developing countries.
