Race Preview: 2017 Lake Run 5k/10k (Lake Oswego)

The 41st annual Lake Run, hosted by the Women’s Club of Lake Oswego, takes place at Millennium Plaza in Lake Oswego on Saturday, May 13th starting at 8am. Participants can choose to run the 10k, which is a challenging, hilly loop around the entire lake, or the 5k, which starts and ends in the same spot as the 10k, but takes advantage of a bridge to cut the course short. After the two races and before the awards ceremony, there is also a 1/4 mile kids dash. Register now to guarantee your shirt and to take advantage of the lower registration fee. The race is stroller friendly, but please leave your dogs at home.

To encourage participation of young athletes, middle school and high school students are encouraged to list their school name during the registration process. The school with the highest number of participants will win and ice cream party hosted by LO Women’s Club.

After the race, stay for the Family Fun Festival which offers entertainment for all ages. Proceeds from the Lake Run will benefit Clackamas Women’s Services, Child Advocates, and scholarships to deserving high school seniors who have performed exemplary community service.

Registration cost: 10k – $40; 5k – $35; Kids Dash – $15 (after May 1, add $5 to 5k/10k cost)
Registration includes: Chip timed race, event shirt (guaranteed for registrations by April 30th), awards, post-race snacks and entertainment.
