What Run Oregon is Wearing: Momentum Shorts by Myles

I reviewed a pair of Myles Everyday Shorts about 14 months ago, and I LOVE them. They are super comfortable and have held up amazingly well over the past year+ of usage. However, their more casual construction has landed them in my warm weather wardrobe and completely out of my running rotation. That’s not a bad thing, but I like Myles so much that I was excited to see their new Momentum Short hit the market this Spring.

This new styling takes everything great about the Everyday Shorts, and makes them much more ideal for running. They are lighter weight, faster drying, and include zip pockets that are set backwards to keep your valuables (phone and keys, for example) stable. There is even a cord port so that your headphones can plug into your pocketed phone without having to have your pocket unzipped! To be honest, the first time I put these on I didn’t even realize they had pockets – they were the sleek, light, and hidden.

The inseams are also available in two sizes (8 inch and 6 inch), and the leg holes are tighter than in the Everyday Shorts. Even though they are more athletically fit, the four-way stretch fabric provides great stretch so you won’t be constricted on the roads or trails (or even in the gym).

I really think that Myles crushed it out of the park with these. They are an amazing combination of style, comfort, and function – a triple threat of awesome.
