Race Preview: 2017 CASA Super Hero Race (Salem)

Have you ever run a race in a superhero costume? If not, here’s your chance. And it benefits a good cause too, so get those tights and capes out of storage (you know you have them somewhere) and join in on the fun on April 22nd in Salem, OR for the CASA Super Hero 5k/10k Run/Walk. Get your kids involved too! There is a free 1 Miler just for them and they’ll enjoy seeing all the superheros as much as you do.

This race benefits the Marion County CASA, which is a national program that provides court advocacy services to abused and neglected children under the jurisdiction of the Dependency Court.

The cost of the race is only $20 and t-shirts will be available for purchase with your registration.

The 5k course begins at Riverfront Park in Salem and crosses the pedestrian bridge into Wallace Marine Park. The 10k is simply two loops of the 5k course. The kid’s 1 Miler is a fun FREE event for your kids and it gives them a chance to part of something that will benefit other kids and future generations.

So go find that cape!
