The first thing that “jumps out” at me about Rabbit apparel is the asymmetrical designs. I appreciated that about the short-sleeved shirt and shorts I reviewed several months ago for Run Oregon, and I like the unique one-sleeve-only band of lighter fabric on the Speed Sleeves long-sleeved shirt too. I’m not sure of the exact function of the design (wiping sweat from your brow?) but it separates the shirt from other staid running shirts. That lighter material is also used on the back panel, and provides a nice element of breathability.
Other novel features of the Speed Sleeves shirt include extra-long cuffs with thumb holes, raglan sleeves (which I always like), and a light stretchy fabric, including “FreeSpeed” material on the back and arm band panels. A reflective Rabbit logo on the chest caps off the attractive design. This soft, breathable, stretchy, nicely fitted, and eye-catching shirt makes a solid choice for cold weather runs.
*More About Rabbit:
When the weather starts to get cool, we find ourselves reaching for the speed sleeves every day. Made from the softest material at just the right weight, this shirt will keep the chill off your skin when you’re getting started but won’t overheat you once the run is in full swing.
The speed sleeves is a close cousin to our beloved to-a-tee, sharing the same perfect fit, asymmetrical arm-bands, and incredibly comfortable FreeSpeed fabric. The only difference are the longer sleeves, which feature thumb slits at the wrist so your hands can stay comfy too.
