Small Race Preview: 2016 Run For Intrepid Fallen Heroes Veterans 5K (Albany)

Join Electric Edge Racing on Saturday Nov 12th for a 5K run or walk to benefit Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.   The course is a loop which starts and finishes at  West Albany High School.

Race Details:

When:  Sat. Nov 12th
Arrive early for packet pickup.
9:00 am- 5K run
9:15 am- 5K walk

Where:  West Albany High School

Registration:  $25 (includes shirt).  $15 for youth participants (14 years and younger with NO shirt).  Shirts are available for purchase for $5.  Add $5 to race fees for day of race registration.    Registration is available online or with a printable mail-in form.

Robin grew up as a couch potato and did everything she could to get out of exercise, until one day a good friend would not stop talking about this fun 5k race she was doing. Finally Robin got off the couch and trained for this "fun" race using C25K (couch to 5k program). After crossing that first finish line, she kept going and became a "runner". After losing 80 lbs, gaining health, a love of being active and setting a healthy example for her husband and kids, she thinks she'll stick with this whole "running thing".
