Impressions: Right out of the box, I could tell just by the feel that these were a higher quality legging as the material was much thicker compared to other athletic leggings I have tried in the past. These leggings were soft and fit like a glove. They were, unfortunately, a tad long, however this is a problem I encounter often since I’m only 5’1. I have noticed with some running tights, the material between my thighs being a little saggy, but this was not an issue with the VIMMIA Vee Leggings. I was actually a little worried that they might be somewhat stiff during my runs, not allowing for maximum mobility due to their thickness. Luckily I found that this was not an issue at all and I did not notice any constriction issues while running. The zipper pocket on the back of the waistband was another plus, as I was able to stash my car keys during one of my runs. In addition to running in these tights, I enjoy just wearing these out casually and have even gotten a few of compliments on them. I received the Vee Leggings in charcoal/black, but there are two additional colors shown on their page; ultramarine (shown above) and black, that I also happen to love.
I think the only drawback that people might have with VIMMIA is the overall cost of their products; VIMMIA leggings run anywhere from $101 to $180. While the price range is a bit on the higher end, I will say that VIMMIA seems to be comparable to other high end athletic gear, so you would be getting some serious bang for your buck. Not only that, I guarantee you will not be disappointed by the array of bold prints and designs of their products. VIMMIA offers jackets, bras, and athletic tops for women as well as some Men’s products.
Another added bonus to making a VIMMIA purchase is that the company has a partnership with Maria Shriver’s The Women’s Alzheimer’s Challenge. Vimmia has pledged to donate $1 from the sale of each legging to the nonprofit charity. 100% of the money raised for The Women’s Alzheimer’s Challenge funds high-potential research initiatives focused on gender and Alzheimer’s.
