Small Race Preview: 37th Annual Happy Valley Fun Run on May 7th, 2016

The 37^th Annual Happy Valley Fun Run offers a Kid’s Dash, 5K and 10K on Saturday, May 7^th. The best part is that all of the proceeds benefit Happy Valley Elementary School, plus they offer a discount for students. All distances start and finish at Happy Valley Elementary School at 13865 SE King Road in Happy Valley. The Kid’s Run kicks it all off at 8:00AM. The one-mile dash is for children 12 and under and costs $16. The 5K and 10K will be chip timed and start at 8:30AM. The 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk cost $26 for adults and $16 for students through May 4^th.

All kids participating in the 1-Mile Dash will receive a ribbon and awards will be given to the top finishers in the 5K and 10K for both men and women. The course looks straightforward and easy to follow. Much better than cookie dough, the Happy Valley Fun Run is a healthy way to make some money for our kids.
