You’ve seen the ElliptiGo, I’m sure. It’s like an elliptical machine, but is made to take out on the road (or paved trail). Eugene Marathon has used them for “pace vehicles” instead of lead bikes, and they just look fun. (I want one.)
Well, ElliptiGo elliptical bikes has teamed up with Skechers for a week-long sweepstakes. One winner will be lucky enough to score an ElliptiGO 8C, signed by Meb Keflezighi, and a pair of the shoes he’s given serious cred: the GORun from Skechers. It’s a prize valued at more than $2,500 and the sweepstakes is only open today through Monday, March 28! Click here to enter for your chance to win.
These two companies have paired up because Meb, who runs in Skechers, uses the ElliptiGO to train. Here’s some more info on the ElliptiGo:
“This low-impact option reduces stress on the neck and back due to its natural “stand up” position and gives the feeling of “running on air.”
Comfort aside, ElliptiGO bicycles offer an all-around great workout that burns 33-percent more calories than riding a traditional bike at the same speed and conditions. These bikes offer the benefits of a traditional elliptical machine while providing the extra benefit of taking workouts outside, and feature a wide range of gears to climb the biggest hills around.”
