Coach Jim’s free group long run for Saturday, March 5, 2016

Get ready for 20 (or 12 or 8, as the case may be) this Saturday!

This weekend’s free marathon and half marathon training run offers two loops. The first of 12 miles will climb up Terwilliger and the second of 8 miles will tour the Waterfront and include the lovely Tillicum Bridge.

When: Saturday, March 5, 2016

What time: The run starts at 8a. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early so the run can start on time.

Where: Road Runner Sports at 29 NW 23rd Place in Portland.

How far & how fast: Exact paces will vary but there are usually groups training for a 3:30 – 5:00 marathon finish time.

Bring your own hydration and nutrition, dress for the weather, and come ready to make some new friends! Please note, pace group leaders are experienced runners and would love to answer any questions you have about pacing, fueling, recovery, etc. They’re basically awesome. And they’re also volunteers, so say “thanks” after the run.
