The inaugural O’Grady’s St. Paddy’s 5K will be held on March 12 at Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort in beautiful Leavenworth, Washington. This traffic-free run will be held on the Icicle River Trail. Expect views of Icicle Creek and Sleeping Lady Mountain as you run through the forested dirt trails.
After finishing, there will be a post-race party at O’Grady’s including beer, food, and other refreshments. Don’t forget to wear green for this festive St. Patrick’s Day event.
If you are looking for a weekend run get-away, check out the O’Grady’s St. Paddy’s 5K package at Sleeping Lady Resort. This includes accommodations and race entries for 2, dinner, breakfast, and some great amenities.
Race participants will receive a commemorative Klean Kanteen stainless steel pint glass. They also will receive a first fill of draft beer at O’Grady’s for $3.17. Refills will be 50 cents off with the commemorative steel pint glass or with a race bib. O’Grady’s also will be selling a corned beef sandwich and Irish stew special. For the kids, a frosted sugar “runner” cookie will be given to all participants under the age of 11.
The first-place female runner will receive an Aspen Leaf Relaxation Massage and the first-place male runner will receive a Gentleman’s Facial or Resource Renewing Treatment Massage at Aspen Leaf Day Spa at Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort.
