Race Preview: The Freeze 2016

From the same group that brought you The Inferno, The Freeze is back for its 2nd year. Obstacle course lovers, this is your opportunity to get in an event in the “off-season” and prepare for the many OCRs coming in the summer and fall. Held on March 5, this event promises to challenge you with 25+ obstacles.

The Freeze is held in the same location as The Inferno – Zena Springs Farm in Salem. The Freeze is a 4-5 mile course with obstacles including sandbags, tires, walls, hills, monkey bars and probably mud this time of year. New this year is the addition of the Double Loop Challenge – allowing racers to complete 2 rounds of the course, and the Max Out Challenge. If you are looking for a crazy-hard challenge, The Max Out is right up your alley, allowing you to complete as many loops as you can in 10 hours.

If you’re looking to mix it up this winter, grab some friends and head to Salem for this challenging obstacle course race.
