The proceeds from the event’s shirts (featuring this logo) will go towards the much needed restoration of the Phoenix Elementary track.
The Love Stinks 5K and Couple Shuffle 10K Relay offers a fun event for those looking for something not too sickeningly sweet for this February. Singles and couples will both find something fun in this event located in Phoenix, Oregon. The course will be ab out at back starting and ending at Phoenix Elementary. So, grab your friends or your loved ones or even your fren-emies and compete to beat each other in the 5K or as a team effort in the 10k relay.
Bring your little cherubs along too for the “Chasing Cupid kid’s free fun run” which is open for kids 8 years old and under. Kids will run with Cupid (or chase him) around the elementary track. Not only that, but finishers of this kid-friendly event will receive a pass to try out Kid Time! Discovery Experience.
Stay after the event for awards, snacks and refreshments which will be available after the race in the Phoenix Elementary gym.
Custom bibs will be available this year. And I hear that not only are these bibs going to be super cool, they are also environmentally friendly. This year’s bibs will be provided by Recycle Racing and are 100% recyclable. You know, for those of us who don’t hoard our bibs…

Registration: You can save $5 by being a Southern Oregon Runners member, otherwise, before Feb 1st, the 5K is $20 and if you are 17 years old or younger, $7.00. The Couple Shuffle Relay 10K is $35 for non members. Register online or click here for mail in forms.
