Last year, the Freezer lived up to its name as the race day temps were in the high teens. This year is shaping up to be exactly the same and race organizers at Fleet Feet in Bend are expecting no less. Of course, this just makes the runners run faster so they can get back and enjoy pancakes!
The race, now in its 5th year, is untimed and is an out and back that starts and ends at the Fleet Feet store in Bend. All proceeds go to Bethlehem Inn and the cost is only $10!! The race is billed as a community event and welcomes all levels of runners. The pancake breakfast following the race welcomes all levels of runners too! But don’t forget your wool lined running gear, it’s going to be a cold one!
