Race Preview: 2015 Grapes of Half Time Trial

So a hill climb that is just short of a mile could be a great workout if done right. It starts at 11am at Silvan Ridge Winery and finishes at Sweet Cheeks Winery. There will be a shuttle service, and refreshments afterwards. Eclectic Edge Racing is in charge of timing, but no awards will be handed out. Registration is $10 through the 12th, and five more dollars on event day. Bib pick up is from 9:45 to 10:45 at Silvan Ridge on race day. It is noted that strollers and dogs are not permitted on this course.
This event is a great chance to get an instant PR on a tough course. It does start with a downhill to give you momentum, so the climb is not as bad as it could be. This is a beautiful area as well, our wine country is one of the most scenic regions for running. It won’t be displaying fall foliage anymore by the time December 13th rolls around, but the views will still be worth the climb.
