The 2nd annual One Small Step for Prader-Willi Syndrome 5k takes place in Hillsboro, Oregon on Saturday, August 1, 2015.
The 2nd Annual One Small Step for Prader-Willi Syndrome 5k will take place at Hillsboro High School on Saturday, August 1, 2015. The race begins at 10 a.m.
This is a donation driven event, benefiting Prader-Willi Syndrome, with no minimum donation amount to participate. The event will be family friendly, so please bring along the entire family with you! You may run or walk, and there will be games and activities available for kids who may not be ready to take on the 5k (3.1 miles).
New this year, the prizes for the raffle are bigger and better! Some of the items include a Blazer ticket 4-pack, Mariners tickets, massage gift cards, Winterhawks tickets, a 2-night stay at a beach house that sleeps 15 people, 2 rounds of golf at The Reserve, a round of golf at Pumpkin Ridge … and the list keeps going! Raffle tickets are $10 each, 6 for $50 or 15 for $100. You do not need to be present to win, so feel free to accomplish the 5k, and continue on with your day.
For the top male and female finishers, Portland Running Company has generously donated gift cards. And, if you fundraise $200 or more, you will be entered into the One Small Step drawing for an iPad Mini by Apple. WOW!
