It’s month away from the second of Uberthons’ 2015 half marathon series. The Oregon Spring Half Marathon took place in Canby, by St. Josef’s Winery. The Summer Half Marathon, on July 18, will be staged at Heirloom Roses in St. Paul, Oregon, about 30 minutes southwest of Portland near Highway 99.

Other race distances besides the half marathon are 5K and 10K. Entry fees are $75 for the half, $40 for the 10K, and $30 for the 5K. Each entrant to the half marathon will receive a pair of Oregon Half Marathon shorts and the Summer Half Marathon finisher’s medal. 5K and 10K entrants will receive finisher’s medals for those race distances, and can buy the shorts as long as supplies last.

If you register by July 1 for the 5K or 10K, and July 2 at noon for the half marathon, your name will be laser-engraved on the back of the finisher’s medal.
All three race distances are out-and-backs. Here’s the half marathon route; it looks like there’s a little bit of a hill around mile 6 (and coming back at mile 10), with a loop from 6.5 to 9.5 miles. The overall elevation gain over the entire 13.1 miles is just 113 meters (under 400 feet). The 5K and 10K routes should be even flatter and hopefully conducive to fast times.
Pre-race packet pick-up is two days before the race, on July 16, at the Road Runner Sports in Tualatin (7063 SW Nyberg St.).
