The Tillamook Milk Run takes place every year in conjunction with the Tillamook June Dairy Parade on the last Saturday of June. The even is organized by the Tillamook YMCA, and with a 2 mile, 5k and 10k distance it offers something for participants of all abilities and speeds. All events start and end at the Y and wind through country roads to give runners a tour of the milk country.
In addition to the run and walk distances, there will also be a Kids Challenge set up on the grass near the YMCA. The brochure promises a good time as the kids run, jump, tumble and spin, and it warns that they might get dirty. All participants of the Kids Challenge will receive a finishers award.
Awards will be given to the top two finishers male and female in the age groups 9-11, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. After the race, stay to eat some snacks and to watch the Dairy Parade.
