The Sternwheeler Days 5k/10k Run and Walk will take place on Saturday, June 27 in conjunction with the Sternwheeler Days in Cascade Locks. This run is organized by the Columbia Gorge Running Club, and with a $2 entry fee (free for CGRC members) it is one of the most affordable races out there.
Both distances start and end at the park on Portage Rd near where the Sternwheeler is moored, head under the Bridge of the Gods towards the West and turn around at their respective half way points. Runners and walkers are welcomed, but since the parade begins at 11am it would be good to be finished by that time. For updated information, visit the event page on Facebook.
