Race Preview: 2015 Trout Lake Run

Set in the foothills of the Eastern Cascades, the rural community of Trout Lake is a picturesque setting perfect for a spring 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon. This fairly flat course will take you through the farmland of this small community with views of Mt. Adams along the way.

Trout Lake Run is put on by the students and staff of Trout Lake School in southern Washington. This is a fundraiser for the school in which 100% of the proceeds go towards allowing students to participate in service-learning opportunities outside of their small community. Registration fees are very reasonable and even include a t-shirt.  Knowing your fees are going to help out the students at Trout Lake School makes them even more appealing.

The races start and finish at Trout Lake School, so there will be real bathrooms and even showers post-race! Water stations will be available along the courses and are marked on the course map below. Afterwards you’ll enjoy hot soup and bread along with other post-race goodies.

The Trout Lake Course Map for 2015 is the same as 2014.


2015 Trout Lake Run Details

Date: Saturday, April 11, 2015

Time: 9:00 A.M. (8:00 A.M. early start for 1/2 marathon walkers only.)

Location: Trout Lake School, 2310 Highway 141, Trout Lake, WA

Registration Fees: $25 – 5K,   $30 – 10K,  $45 – Half Marathon     Day of Race add $5 to the registration price.
