Two sessions: July 28-August 1 and August 11-15, for ages 5-12.
If you are a regular reader, you probably know that I work out at ADAPT in Beaverton – a functional fitness gym that puts focus on adapting routines for individual strengths. Well here’s something for those of you with kids age 5-12; a FREE kids camp split into three age groups for fun age-appropriate exercise.
There are two class sessions. The first is July 28 through August 1, the second is August 11 through August 15. Each four-day session meets from 3p-4p each day in three groups; age 5-7, age 8-9, and age 10-12. The trainers leading these classes are experienced in working with kids and are designing workouts specifically for young athletes.
Bonus: ADAPT is near the Fanno Creek Trail, so you can leave work early, drop the kiddo off and go for a run while they’re kicking butt and getting worn out so they eat a good dinner and go to bed early enough for you to catch up on Orange is the New Black.
Space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis, so register online today or call ADAPT to sign your kiddo up. Their number is 503-646-8482. While you’ve got them on the phone, ask them about Court of Law – held Mondays and Wednesdays from 7p-8p. We’ve got room for a few more people in this small-group personal training group! It’s only $150 for five weeks and I promise you’ll get an amazing cross-training workout!
