Looking for an excuse to explore a gorgeous little corner of Oregon? The Lauren Beam Trail Run has got you covered. Cancer fundraiser, the Lauren Beam Foundation, is hosting a 5k and 10k trail run and hike just outside Corvallis, OR at the Benton County Fairgrounds. Welcoming all levels of participants to the trails to support a good cause, the proceeds from the race go to support the Lauren Beam Foundation, which supports programs and individuals dealing with cancer.
This event promises to be a family friendly one with options for 5k, 10k, and a one mile kids race. It also looks like you won’t be without options if you opt to bring along your four-legged friends. Being a trail event, this seems like it will be a fun and flexible chance to test out trail running, or walking, or hiking, depending on what suits you that day.
