We all started somewhere in our “running careers”. For some, running was a calling and you participated competitively. For some (like me), it was a desire to get active with something that didn’t require an entirely new skillset. For some, it was just to get healthy or off the couch. Whatever the reason was, we all started somewhere. And it is the starting that is the hardest.

That is the motto of Fit Right’s Intro to RUN training programs that take place year round and align perfectly with races around Portland and SW Washington. From their website:
Our Intro to RUN Program is for walkers and novice runners interested in starting a regular running program with the goal distance of 5k in mind. This program is for the individuals that want to improve their quality of life through the sport of running… Participants will start with a combination of walking and running with the goal of being able to run the full 5k distance at the end of the 12 weeks.
