Terrapin announces My Muddy Valentine course
My Muddy Valentine takes place at Lee Farms in Tualatin, a place I have visited several times before during apple and pumpkin season. Now their pumpkin patches, forest paths and creek crossings will be part of the muddy fun. Terrapin has now finalized the course and published the course map. There are 17 different obstacles on the 3.1 mile course, including mud pits, climbing walls, beer chugging, carrying heavy things, and a car wash.
After the race, runners can donate their muddy shoes before enjoying brunch and a change of clean clothes. A limited number of hot showers are available and can be pre-purchased. Since parking spots are also somewhat limited, Terrapin is encouraging carpooling by charging a parking fee to any car that only carries one person. Parking passes can also be pre-purchased.
So wish me luck, and let’s hope the dry weather streak continues a while longer.
Chugging a beer at the halfway point could be rough… I’ll see ya there!
Hopefully it’s a small cup!
