Welcome to Run Oregon’s new home

The winning logo design, by Kimberly Palmer.

Thank you for visiting the Run Oregon blog in our new home!

This blog will contain what you’ve come to love on Run Oregon – a race calendar, race previews and recaps, information about training opportunities, running gear and food, and interviews with local runners. In other words, things that are only really interesting to runners. You can even sign up for our new newsletter here!

We’re also adding some more information and resources for runners and race organizers in Oregon and SW Washington:

Check out the Run Oregon race calendar >>

Why did we move? Well, we thought the blog was ready to move off into it’s own place, where we could do more for our readers. At nearly 7 years old, it was time.

Thanks for reading Run Oregon – keep in touch, follow us on facebook, and check back often to see what else we’re up to! (Hint: it will be awesome.)

About Author

We started the Run Oregon blog in February 2007, because felt like running in Oregon and SW Washington deserved more positive coverage. We also wanted to level the playing field so that small, non-profit races could compete with big events; and to support local race organizers.
