Fall in Oregon is a great time of year to take up running. If you already run, it’s just the best! It’s a cooler time of year, it’s so beautiful out and generally not cold yet. This time of year also bring some unique races to the area, one being Eola Hills “No Hills” 5k/10k.

This event, put on by Willamette Valley Roadrunners, starts and ends at Eola Hills Winery Cellars. It’s a simple, out and back course (and includes some of this Strava route) that’s probably one of the fastest out there. It’s definitely a good pick if you’re looking for that next PR or just want to come out for a good fun run or walk.
Awards and warming up will take place in the wine cellar after the event. You will be able to sit, enjoy a slice of pizza from Yeasty Beasty, and a glass of wine, beer or a soda (in your new logo wine glass that comes with entry).

There isn’t parking at the event so please watch for signs a short 1/4 mile south of Eola Hills Winery on the west side of Hwy 99 (DO NOT PARK AT THE FAIRGROUNDS!) There will be volunteers directing you where to turn.

This event is open to walkers and runners with a 90-minute cap on time. Proceeds will go to benefit both Central and Dallas High Schools Cross Country and Track programs.
