The second week of October brings another solid batch of races, with Eugene getting a little extra attention before things spread out across the state. There’s a little bit of everything here, from short community runs and a glow run to cross country, trail racing, and several longer-distance options.
And with October settling in, this is prime time for fall running in Oregon. The mornings are getting cooler, the leaves are starting to turn, and when the rain holds off, it’s hard to beat the conditions for getting out and putting in some miles.
