Fall in Love with Oiselle this Season!

Oiselle always hits the mark. I have tried lots of brands over the years, and Oiselle is one of only a few that I grab for again and again. The quality is great, the materials feel luxurious, and the colors are bright and cheerful. You can easily go from workout to hangout in Oiselle, and you’ll be comfy and cute.

Looks

The Lux Mock Neck is a great example of something you could wear for a day out running errands or for hanging around the house. I wore mine for the first time at work, and I love the Alpenglow color that it came to me in. This also comes in Black and Juniper, which is a forest green. I love that it’s got a diagonal seam design across it, which makes it more unique than your typical workout top.

The Flyout Mile One Long Sleeve arrived in the Redwood/Blue Ink colorway and I really love it. It’s so perfect for Fall. This shirt also comes in colors called Stratus (a pretty sky blue) and Twilight, a dusty blue-gray color. Like the Lux Mock Neck, this has a high funnel neck design.

The Pockito Tights came to me in Juniper Monarch, which is a dark green with a pattern on it that is likely meant to be reminiscent of a monarch butterfly. This pattern is also available in shades called Obsidian Monarch, (a dark gray color,) and Redwood Monarch, which is more of a peach shade with a dark pattern. The tights also come in black.

Function & Construction

The Lux Mock Neck would be a great for a run after the sun starts to go down this fall. The mock neck will keep your neck and chest warm, but the soft material doesn’t feel suffocating like some turtlenecks do. The material is very lightweight and breathable, and if you know anything about Oiselle’s Lux line, you already know it’s the softest option you’ll find. It’s a midweight fabric, so you won’t overheat in it when you sweat, but you should stay comfortable thru mild temperatures.

The Flyout Mile One Long Sleeve is made with temperature regulating HoverFit material which is meant to keep your body at an optimal temp. If you hold it up to the light, you can see it’s very ventilated. Per the website, it’s “skin-skimming and lightweight to the touch” so it’s a great option to pull on for the warm up or cool down. It’s thin and fast-drying so it will wick away moisture in a flash.

If you’re looking for pockets in your leggings, you really can’t find anything better than the Pockito Tights. You’ll get 7 (yes, 7!) pockets along the waistband and down the sides for gels, keys, ID, and the kitchen sink. There’s a big one in the back that could accommodate a small water bottle, and 6 side pockets (2 mesh ones, 2 zippered pockets, and 2 that could easily accommodate a cell phone.) There’s a spot for everything on the longest runs.

The bungee drawcord on the inside hem ensures that you can pull the waistline as tight as you need it and the “cool-feel” material is awesome for the long runs. These are high waisted and meant to be a bit compressive so when you move, everything stays in place where you want it. They are smooth and slick to the touch and sufficiently thick .. They pass the squat test with flying colors.

Fit

The Lux Mock is meant to be a relaxed fit, and I found this to be true in my typical true-to-size 8. It’s roomy through the shoulders, with nice long sleeves. It’s short but not quite a crop top, and it’s got a square structure to it.

The Flyout Mile One Long Sleeve has nice long sleeves which is great for the tall ladies. As with the Lux Mock, I received it in a size 8 and it’s a great fit. It looked narrow before I pulled it on for the first time, but it’s got a lot of stretch to it. It does not feel constrictive.

Maybe one day I’ll learn from my previous mistakes and order tights from Oiselle in a size 8, but I continue to think I need a size 10, which is just a bit too loose for me. The Pockito Tights in a size 10 still stay up just fine and are very comfortable, but there’s a bit of bagging behind the knees that I think would improve if I ordered my more true-to-size 8. These tights are on the long size with a 27” inseam, so I think tall runners will really appreciate the ankle coverage. As previously mentioned, they also have a nice high waist, so they should cover any stomach jiggle issues.

Overall/For Consideration

Oiselle has got you all covered for Fall! This is the best time of year for running and these threads will be great on a crisp morning or evening.
