Pears, Parades, and Personal Bests: 2025 Pear Blossom Run

Juicy, sweet, and deeply rooted in Oregon’s history—pears are more than just a delicious snack, they’re a symbol of the Rogue Valley’s rich agricultural heritage. And what better way to celebrate than by running through Medford in the 2025 Pear Blossom Run presented by Asante on Saturday, April 12?

This event isn’t just about crossing the finish line—it’s about supporting the Rogue Valley Family YMCA, an organization that does incredible work for kids and families in 10 Southern Oregon communities. I’ve seen firsthand the impact of the YMCA, from summer camps to after-school programs that provide a safe, encouraging space for kids to learn and grow. Every registration fee and donation helps provide scholarships so more families can access these programs.

Race options include:

  • 10-Mile & 5K (finishers earn medals!)
  • Mayor’s Cup 2-Mile & 1-Mile Fun Runs (participants can do both!)
  • Ribbons awarded for all Mayor’s Cup finishers, with special prizes for schools with the highest participation!

After the race, stick around for the Pear Blossom Parade & Festival! With over 150 parade entries and 4,000 participants, plus a scholarship pageant and street fair, it’s one of the best post-race celebrations around.
