Running Clothes for #InTheMoment: Lé Bent Clothing

I learned recently that different generations prefer different lengths of socks. Since some of the college students I work with wear socks with crocs, I know that I’m not one of their peoples. But thanks to Lé Bent, I did get to break out of my short sock preference. And thanks to them also sharing a long-sleeve tee, I’m also better set up for frosty morning runs.

Let’s start with the stylish socks. All three kinds I got to try are made from a merino blend made using a sustainable bamboo processes. This blend was so great when I inevitably stepped in a puddle during our recent rains. They are well-cushioned and went through multiple laundry cycles still fitting great.

I got to try out three types of socks. The Zero Cushion Mini was closest to my regular sock style, with about an inch showing above the shoe and consistent support throughout.

The little bit of fabric at the top of the Ultra Cushion Light Micro Tab helped this “reflecting pond” color pair stick out beyond no-show socks (which always end up falling inside of my shoe). These will be useful for summer trail running when I need protection from the trail but not the temperature.

And last but certainly not least is The Range Light Cushion Crew, which will be a more in the home than on the road sock for me. I received a “woodland moss” pair and they combine lovely colors, cushioning, and length that is great for keeping warm and moving inside. I may also try them on a hike or two next summer.

As a great bonus, I also received a Mens Ultralight Logo Long Sleeve Tee. The shirt is very lightweight and did well with a few minor rain clouds during a neighborhood run. I will need to use it only for cold runs where I will not need to roll up the sleeves as the wrist elastic goes slack after a while. Like the socks, this shirt uses a blend of Merino Wool & Rayon from Bamboo to help with temperature, sweat, and even sun protection.
