Norwegian Chill: Keeping Going this Winter with the new Roark Run Amok Collection

Since beginning our journey with Roark a few years ago, nearly all the pieces we’ve received have become steadfast favorites in my wardrobe. The Winter 2024 Collection transports runners to the northern reaches of Norway. Roark challenges us to consider: do we take the time to relax and recharge, or do we plunge into an adventure that pushes us beyond our limits, venturing off the grid with no signal?

Roark is drawn to the fringes—those elevated terrains and overlooked spots where the scenery is as unrefined as the experiences we seek. It’s within these rugged landscapes that their products are designed and tested. For this collection, Roark has felt the magnetic pull of the Arctic Circle, embracing the need to disconnect in order to reconnect.

The Collection:

The Mathis Long Sleeve Active Tee is notable for its soft, premium texture and offers a slightly tighter fit than their regular tees, based on my experience. If you find yourself between sizes, I suggest opting for the larger size for added comfort. Even with its more tailored silhouette, it’s a shirt I consistently gravitate toward due to its exceptional comfort and versatility.

The Serrano Active Shorts offer a relaxed fit and come in multiple inseam lengths, making them versatile for various settings. They’re unlined, perfect as a top layer over running tights, or for wearing in the weight room or even on the trails. Though not baggy, they provide plenty of room to move, with an elastic waistband featuring an exterior drawstring that ensures a great fit, even without adjustment.

They also work well as standalone shorts. Made from lightweight Repreve polyester (recycled from water bottles!), the shorts feature 4-way stretch fabric. Additionally, they include angled slash pockets, as well as small zippered pockets on both the side and back for secure storage.
