All Frills, No Hills at the Eola Hills “No Hills” 5k and 10k

Fall in Oregon is a great time of year to take up running. If you already run, it’s just the best! It’s a cooler time of year, it’s so beautiful out and generally not cold yet. This time of year also bring tons of races to the area, one being Eola Hills “No Hills” Harvest Run 5k/10k.

This event, put on by Willamette Valley Roadrunners, starts and ends at Eola Hills Winery Cellars. It’s a simple, out and back course that’s probably the fastest course I’ve ever ran on. It’s definitely a good pick if you’re looking for that next PR or just want to come out for a good fun run or walk. Awards will be given after the event inside, as you are able to sit, enjoy a slice of pizza, and a glass of wine, beer or a soda.

10k Course

There isn’t parking at the event so please watch for signs a short 1/4 mile south of Eola Hills Winery on the west side of Hwy 99 (DO NOT PARK AT THE FAIRGROUNDS!) There will be volunteers directing you where to turn.

5k Course

This event is open to walkers and runners with a 90-minute cap on time. Proceeds will go to benefit both Central and Dallas High Schools Cross Country and Track programs.
