Falling for Performance: A Review of Tracksmith’s Camp Tracksmith Fall Collection

Tracksmith recently released their 2024 Fall Collection – Camp Tracksmith – and we are here for it yet again. It is a collection that plays with an Autumn aesthetic- a collection filled with maroons, browns, and earthy greens. We haven’t quite hit the doldrums of the rainy Fall season, so there are a variety of options available for both the early (tees and shorts) and later (baselayers and pants) parts of the season.

“As the heavy heat of summer wanes, making way for earthy, autumnal air, rather than bowing to the first bite of a breeze, we’re revving up. The start of fall allows us to step into a reminiscent routine that reflects the sweat and sentiment of pre-season training camp. Those days were full of camaraderie and quick splits, fellowship and fast finishes. And something about chasing the memories makes us run harder. This collection is designed as an ode to those days, featuring Tracksmith staples, some of which have been completely reimagined, and others in new colorways that reflect the vibrant and varying fall foliage.”

Harrier Tee

We have reviewed Tracksmith’s Harrier Collection before (long sleeve version here and gloves here). This is our first time trying out the Harrier Tee, which feels both long overdue and a bit surprising. Perhaps the timing is just right, though, as the tee has recently been updated with 37.5 technology—a treatment designed to help runners stay cool by wicking away moisture while it’s still in vapor form.

The fit is slightly more relaxed in the midsection, though we still recommend sizing up, as with most Tracksmith gear. It features a high crewneck and raglan sleeves, giving it the look and feel of a casual tee while offering those extra performance elements runners appreciate.

Session Shorts

The Session Shorts have received a complete update from top to bottom. While they have a casual appearance, they’re packed with quality and tech designed for runners. The shorts are lightweight and comfortable, making them perfect for cooling down during fall runs.

With three internal draw pockets and an external zip pocket, the functionality is clear without being overly flashy. Inside, there’s a liner made from soft, Italian-sourced fabric that adds an extra layer of comfort, making these shorts both practical and versatile for runners.

Eliot Runners

What can we say about the Eliot Runner that hasn’t already been said? Honestly, we love the Eliot Runners not only as running shoes but also for their style and comfort as casual wear. They’ve become our go-to travel shoes, offering the perfect combination of comfort for the plane and performance for running, all without needing to pack an extra pair. No other shoe functions quite as well in both areas as the Eliot Runners.

The Camp Tracksmith collection features a stunning forest green option that channels the Pacific Northwest vibe—perfect for Portland Timbers fans, if that’s your style. My personal mission is to snag one of the other colorways because I can’t get enough of these shoes. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
