From the Big City into the Wilderness: 2024 Willamette Valley Half Marathon & 10K (Salem, OR)

While a certain big city in Oregon tends to get the most attention, the state has a beautiful capital city that is just waiting for runners and walkers to explore. And with the Willamette Valley Half Marathon & 10K, there is a wine tasting waiting at the end of that adventure.

Both events for this race start and finish at Riverfront Park in Salem. The courses include city highlights like the new Peter Courtney Bridge, Minto-Brown Island Park, and miles alongside the Willamette River. Half marathon participants start at 8:30, with the 10K starting at 9am. There is a 5-hour cut-off time for the half marathon (meaning a 22+ minute pace).

All participants receive a tasting package, which is also available for non-runners/walkers for a fee. Finishers earn a custom finishers medal, short-sleeved shirt, and catered lunch.
