Lucky Strides in Bend at the St. Patrick’s Day Dash

If you’re looking for a fun family event, or a great way to enjoy a beautiful spring day while supporting a great cause, then consider the St. Patrick’s Day Dash, in Bend Oregon. The race is put on by Cascade Relays – the awesome people that RD the famed Cascade Lakes Relay, Bend Beer Chase, among others.

This St. Patrick’s Day Dash is coming up on Saturday, March 16. Races will take place along the Old Mill District and beautiful river trail in Bend. Actually, the whole weekend is a party!

Stop by the packet pickup party at The Haven Coworking from 12 pm- 6 pm on Friday. There will be free green beer from Kobold Brewery while you grab your swag. Then on Saturday, walk the 1.3 mile walk option or tackle the 5k and 10k (which is a double loop of the 5k course).1618578_883517925023861_2466316505745758063_n

Following the race, there will be lots of food, beverages and prizes for the best St. Patty’s Day costume. Fastest runners will be awarded, as will:

  • Best Wearin’ o the Green
  • One Lucky Couple
  • Cutest Little Leprechaun

The post-race bash includes local food vendors, a beer garden (with green beer!), bagpipers, dancers, and live music.  Registration includes a swag bag with goodies, a beer token for those 21+, and some race merch as well.
