Sitting in Style: Helinox Chair Zero and Chair Zero L Take Fitness Recovery to New Heights

It’s not officially camping season yet, but we know that for many of you out there – it is ALWAYS camping season.

One of my favorite things after a hike, camp set-up, and potentially even a short trail run (I mean, we do love running) is to sit around the fire to disconnect, chat, cook food, or read a book. A nice chair makes the experience even nicer. There are many camping chairs out there, from little tripod stools to large loungers. The Helinox Chair Zero and Helinox Chair Zero L are perfect options for the trails – and as a relaxing post-run option as well. For those times you need to sit and be comfortable without getting your butt wet.

Helinox is a reputable outdoor gear company that has gained a solid reputation for producing high-quality and innovative products designed to enhance outdoor experiences. With a commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail, they focus on creating lightweight, portable, and durable gear for adventurers of all kinds.

After a long and strenuous run, having a comfortable chair to rest and recover is a game-changer. These chairs provide a supportive seat where us runners can relax and give our muscles a chance to recover. Additionally, the lightweight and compact design make it easy to bring along to races or running events, allowing us to have a comfortable seating option wherever the road may take us.

Both chairs are super lightweight – with the Chair Zero at 17 ounces and the Chair Zero L at 23 ounces. Both folds down to about the size of a running shoe! The main difference is that the L version is made to support larger bodies. There is a slightly wider frame, and the poles have a slightly larger diameter to accommodate the increased weight capacity. Both are made with a strong yet lightweight aluminum frame, making it easy to carry and perfect for on-the-go adventures. The fabric used in the seat is both breathable and durable, ensuring long-lasting performance even in rough terrains.

The chairs also feature reinforced stitching, ensuring that it can withstand the rigors of outdoor use. They sit lower to the ground, so long-legged people like me, or those with mobility issues, may desire something a little taller as well. However, it’s really not a game breaker and perfect to have on hand for on-the-go excursions.

It is super easy to set-up:

  1. Begin by removing the chair from its carry bag. Unfold the chair, allowing the poles to slide into the attached holes.
  2. Locate the seat fabric and attach it to the frame by sliding each corner of the fabric onto the corresponding pole of the frame.
  3. That’s it.

The Helinox Chairs are a really great option that we can’t wait to put to use this year!
