If you’ve got the scoop on me, you’ll know I’m pretty much glued to a hat. Seriously, I rock them everywhere, even at work—my hat game is so strong that folks have started calling me “Matt in the Hat.” Can’t help it, my hat collection keeps expanding, covering both my running and chill sessions.

In the heart of downtown Portland – on the corner of 10th Ave & Harvey Milk St. Next to Ace Hotel – Portland Gear proudly unveils its new flagship store, marking the launch with an exciting array of fresh gear. This new location comes with a new launch – the Floral Celebration Collection – which includes a jacket and two pieces of dope headwear.

Even if you aren’t familiar with the company, chances are you have seen the distinctive “P” logo – the outline of the state within the P itself. As mentioned above, the Floral Celebration Collection features two hats and a jacket. We received the unique and exquisite Floral Celebration Rose City Mesh Cap – a trucker style cap emblazoned with flowers on the front paneling and brim and “Rose City” in script. The mix of flowers in browns, purples, and greens is hard to put into words. Needless to say, there are no hats out there that look like this one.

The other snapback hat has the floral design on the entirety of the hat. And the jacket – man that jacket – is just one of the craziest, most amazing things I have ever seen.
