Those of you who have been reading this blog for a while, know that I have a little bit of a “thing” for men’s underwear. In fact, there was a time where I was reviewing men’s underwear on a monthly (or even bi-weekly) basis for a bit. It’s been a while, but I am back with version 18 – featuring Silverlining.
It sounds weird to say out loud, but I am back on an underwear kick. Here’s a little background on Silverlining.
Underwear is usually an afterthought for many people, but what if we told you that the right pair could protect your delicate testicles and enhance your overall health?
At SILVERLINING, we are revolutionizing underwear by using silver-infused fabric to block electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) and protect your sperm from harm. Not only that, but our underwear is also comfortable and stylish, providing you with a soft, stretchy, and sexy pair of underwear with added health benefits.
The idea of the company is rooted in Science – basically that men’s…ahem…nether-regions are receiving the undesired effects of having a phone in our pocket or a computer on our lap. Stuff like reduced sperm count. As a man with three children, I can say that I’m OK with that (I kid!). But in reality, yeah – it makes total sense that electronics wouldn’t be good for our boys.
So Silverlining has created the Alpha – a pair that claims to block 99% of radiation via adding it into the fabric. Silverlining states that “silver is the most conductive element on the planet. When infused into fabric, silver forms a conductive gradient that blocks electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) from passing through, protecting your delicate testicles.”
Outside of all the fancy stuff – much of this good idea could go by the wayside if the underwear are not comfortable. The Alpha’s 52% silver fiber, 40% cotton, 8% spandex mix are flexible and hug your body in all the right places. The waistband is soft and doesn’t dig into your skin, which is a huge plus.
We have reviewed a few silver-infused items in the past, and we know that the element is naturally antimicrobial and odor-free. The Alpha’s are also moisture-wicking, which is great for staying cool and dry throughout the day. And then toss in that science stuff – and you got a real nice pair on your hands…errr legs.
Right now, the Alpha’s aren’t available to the public, but you can reserve a pair here via Kickstarter starting at $25. There will be multiple colors to check out when released – expected in August 2023.
