Reunited and It’s Going to Feel So Good – the 2022 Gorge Waterfalls is back!

After getting to volunteer at Gorge Waterfalls in 2016, I am so excited that this race is back on for 2022. What is the point of living in one of the most amazing places in the world if we don’t run all over it? Plus it is a great way to witness all the hard work completed since the Eagle Creek Fire in 2017 to restore the trails we hold dear.

Gorge Waterfalls has 50K and 100K course options, with the 50K participants getting on a shuttle bus for a point-to-point adventure. The start/finish area for both races is at Marine Park in Cascade Locks, promising beautiful views and plenty of space to spread out. All participants receive a custom award at the finish line, plus a voucher for food and beverages at the after party. Prizes will also be given to top three male and female finishers, and some super lucky raffle winners.

The 100K starts on Saturday, April 2 with check-in at 4am and race start at 5am. Participants have 17 hours to complete the course. Then on Sunday, 50K participants check-in at 6am, load up on shuttle buses at 7:15am, and kick-off from Benson State Rec Area at 8am. Be sure to get back to the finish line by 5pm (9 hours later).
