Race Preview: 2021 ORRC Garlic Festival Half Marathon, 10K, & 5K (North Plains)

ORRC is back you should be too!

After a year with virtual options and small group runs, it is so great to be looking ahead to Oregon Road Runners Club’s Garlic Festival Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K runs. This event is perfect for the whole family because not only do you get to run or walk on lovely farm roads. But there is a festival afterward put on by North Plains Events Association. The Garlic Festival is focused on: “Life, Liberty, & the Pursuit of Garlic!” And if the music, food, and fun aren’t enough, then the free admission should put you over the top.

ORRC is well known in Oregon for putting on races that are focused on the community, from the fastest runner to the wobbliest toddler, and everyone in between. Every finisher earns a custom medal and a new pair of Fitsok socks (to help with any stinky feet troubles). Come join in on this celebration of running, of garlic, and of being in fabulous Pacific Northwest.
