Small Race Preview: Race for the Ace 5K (Springfield)

The 4th annual Race for the Ace is a poker-themed 5K fun run/walk hosted by Eclectic Edge Racing. The race benefits the Eugene-area’s PeaceHealth Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, which provides quality health care to the infants, children, and young adults, as well as providing support for their families.

As racers make their way along the scenic 3 mile course beside the river and through the PeaceHealth RiverBend campus, they’ll collect playing cards hoping for the best 5 card hand! There are prizes for place finishers and best poker hands. If the cards aren’t ever in your favor, there are plenty of great raffle prizes available, poker-themed swag bags for everyone, and free pizza at the finish line provided by TrackTown Pizza.

You can check out the course map here.
