Race Preview: 2019 Pioneer Dam Run (Brownsville)

The Pioneer Dam Run 5k and 10k in Brownsville, OR takes place each year on the Sunday of the third weekend in June, which this year is June 23. The race starts in front of the Linn County Historical Museum. The 5k and 10k start together at 8am, and runners and walkers will head head towards the east. The flat out-and-back course takes 10k runners along the Calapooia River all the way to the Historic Brownsville Dam, while 5k runners find their turnaround spot at 1.55 miles.

After the race, there will be breakfast for all participants, raffle drawing for random prizes, awards for top finishers, and prizes for “Best Dressed as Pioneer” costumes. Proceeds from this event will be donated toward refurbishment of the Central Linn High School Track.
