Calling all runners! On June 1st, 2019 join fellow runners in the first annual Reason to Run. This race will take place in West Linn, and start at 9:30am. The course will take place at Willamette Park, it will go along the Willamette river and finish at Willamette Park in West Linn. Participants are invited to enjoy a family style BBQ following the race. This is a family friendly event, dogs and strollers are welcome. This is a free event, but donations are greatly excepted. (Donation request of $10).
For those who have never heard of Reason to Run, it is a local non profit organization, who provides training programs (specifically 5K) to women in correctional facilities. Reason to Run goes into correctional facilities to teach self-confidence, empowerment and much more through the joys of running.
