It was very impressive to see how well the first Wetlands 5/10K came together. The event had plenty of volunteers with the course being very well marked out. Each participant received handmade, one of a kind finisher medallions created by Brandon Brasher which were made out of antler shed. Huge thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, as well as the Prineville Oregon Running Klub (PORK) and Chuck Coates for all your hard work.
Brandon Brasher placed 1st overall in the 10k with a time of 36:02 and Stephen Snazuk won the 5k with a time of 18:20. Many other awards were handed out along with top finisher custom hydroflasks. This race should defiantly find its way into your yearly race schedule. The course is flat and fast with just the right touch of the small town charm. You will not be disappointed.
